Say Hello to Your 2013 Ambassadors!

Anyone who has been to a past clubbing event knows that our Ambassadors are the unsung heroes that make things work.

This year is no different. Our Ambassadors will be there to help answer your questions, point you in the right direction, make sure you don't miss any of the fun, and in general, make your trip even more enjoyable. Turn to them anytime you have questions or concerns.

This year our Ambassadors are:
  • Aaron Glazier - Accounting
  • Amanda Duggan - Marketing
  • Chris Spencer - Accounting
It should be pretty easy to spot them -- just look for people who have shirts on with big Clubbing2013 Event Team logos on them.

Join us in thanking this great team for all they do to make Clubbing2013 a tremendous success!

Don't Forget Your Sunscreen!

Don't forget to include your sunscreen when you start packing for Clubbing2013! Remember, Aruba is very near the equator, which means their UV index -- which measures the strength of the sun's radiation -- is very high.

In addition to a high UV index, Aruba is known for their trade winds, which are great for keeping you cooler while out in the sun, but can also fool you when it comes to how much sun you're actually getting.

So, our best advice...take plenty of sunscreen, use a higher rating than you normally would back home, and apply it often!

P.S. the tree you see here is called the Divi-Divi tree and is found throughout Aruba -- it always points west, blown in that direction by the trade winds.

What to Wear? What to Wear!

The eternal question – you’re going to spend a few days on a beautiful Caribbean island…but, it’s a business event too. How do you dress for that?

Well, here’s your answer. You’re going to Aruba! Pull out your shorts, your bathing suit, your light weight shirts and stay cool! It will be “good taste” beach casual for this trip, with the only exception being the Awards Cocktail Party and Banquet, which is still formal – dresses, suits, tuxes, etc.

Now remember, you’ll be around people you work with and you don’t want to be “that person” who is the talk of the event, but you are pretty close to the equator and it does get hot. So dress cool, dress smart and don’t sweat it!

Meals & Excursions - July 1st Deadline

It's time to make some tough decisions...but the good news is, you can't make a bad decision!

You will receive an email today from Jeanette giving you your Award Banquet dinner choices and options for the Friday morning Excursions we have for you.  Your job: make your choices and get them back to us no later than end-of-day on Monday, July 1st.

If you are bringing a significant other, he or she has some decisions to make too.  First, it's about food.  Do they want to join our Meal Plan (includes all breakfasts and lunches during the event) and would they like to join us for the Awards Banquet.  Next, do they want to tag along on an Excursion. Significant others are welcomed at these events, though at their own expense,

Please check out the email for more details and to respond.  Details can also be found by clicking on the Meals & Excursion tab above or clicking HERE.

Aruba - One Happy Island!

Here's a fast fact for you: the small island nation of Aruba is home to 80 nationalities - no surprise in light of its turbulent multi-cultural history. Learn more about this beautiful south Caribbean island by clicking HERE or on the map to the left!

What's Coming Up?

Get ready for more tough decisions!

Food and Fun...the cornerstones of a great Clubbing experience, and Clubbing2013 is no exception. Later this week we'll be sending you information about Excursions and your Awards Banquet dinner options.

I know it doesn't sound tough, but you might be surprised. You'll be agonizing over what spectacular excursion to chose for a morning of pure Arubian fun. You'll also find it tough to select between the sumptuous Awards night dinner selections we'll be tempting you with...and if you're bringing a significant other, whether they want to join our Meal Plan and/or join us for the Awards Banquet.

Decisions, decisions, decisions...yea, this clubbing stuff is tough work!

Do You Have Your Passport?!

Don't forget, you must have a valid passport to travel to Aruba. That applies to everyone -- adults or children. If you don't have a passport, start the process today, the government is very unpredictable on how long it takes them to process your paperwork.

For more helpful information, click HERE to find the passport location nearest you.  Do it today -- hey, you've worked too hard and accomplished too much to miss out on the sun and fun of Aruba because of a little blue book!
