Don't forget to include your sunscreen when you start packing for
Clubbing2013! Remember, Aruba is very near the equator, which means
their UV index -- which measures the strength of the sun's radiation --
is very high.
In addition to a high UV index, Aruba is known for
their trade winds, which are great for keeping you cooler while out in
the sun, but can also fool you when it comes to how much sun you're
actually getting.
So, our best advice...take plenty of sunscreen, use a higher rating than you normally would back home, and apply it often!
P.S. the tree you see here is called the Divi-Divi tree and is found
throughout Aruba -- it always points west, blown in that direction by
the trade winds.
